Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information ARVIQ (“we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ARVIQ you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account info — if you sign up, your email address and (optionally) your name, via Firebase Authentication (email/password or Google sign-in).
• Analyses you run — the addresses and purchase prices you submit, and the analyses generated from them.
• Saved properties & notes — properties you save and any personal notes or cost overrides you add.
• Billing records — if you buy credits we store what you bought and when. We never see or store your card number.
• Technical data — your IP address is used transiently to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.

2. How we use it

We use your information to provide and operate the Service (generate analyses, save your properties, authenticate you), to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse, and to improve and secure the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-party processors

To operate ARVIQ, your data is processed by trusted third parties, including:

• Google Firebase — authentication and database (Firestore) storage.
• Anthropic — the AI model that generates analyses (receives the address and price you submit).
• Property-data providers — a Zillow-sourced provider via RapidAPI, a Redfin-sourced provider via RapidAPI, and RentCast. Each receives the property address you submit in order to return public property records, valuations and comparable sales. We use three so their valuations can be cross-checked against each other — when they disagree, the report says so instead of averaging the disagreement away.
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects your card details directly; ARVIQ never sees or stores your full card number.
• Resend — sends account and recap emails (receives your email address).
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the analysis form.
• Google reCAPTCHA v3(via Firebase App Check) — verifies that requests come from the real ARVIQ site rather than a script. It runs in the background on our pages and collects device and browsing signals; its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Geoapify — address autocomplete suggestions as you type.
• Vercel — website hosting, and Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate, cookie-less traffic statistics (page views and referrers; no cross-site tracking and no advertising profile).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Improving our estimates

When you edit one of our repair-cost estimates — say you have a contractor quote and change $8,000 to $14,000 — we record that correction so our future estimates get better.

These records are anonymous by design. They contain no account identifier and no street address — only the ZIP code, the repair category, our original estimate, your figure, and broad property characteristics (a square-footage range and the decade the property was built). They cannot be traced back to you or to a specific property, and we use them only in aggregate, never individually. Your own report is unaffected: edits remain temporary and still reset when you refresh.

5. How we handle IP addresses

We use your IP address only to apply rate limits and to prevent abuse of the free analysis. It is never stored in its raw form: we keep a one-way, salted hash that lets us recognise repeat requests from the same network without retaining the address itself. These records hold only a counter and a timestamp, and expire automatically.

Each processor handles data under its own privacy terms.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies/local storage necessary to keep you signed in and operate the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and saved data until you delete it. You can delete your account yourself from Account settings, or email support@arviq.space. Deleting removes your profile, your saved pipeline, your search history, every analysis you have run, and the property data we cached to produce them. Records of payments are kept for accounting, tax and refund handling, with the link to your account removed.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), server-side database rules that block direct client access, and verified authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
